The Construction & Building Unions Superannuation Fund, known as Cbus, is a retirement fund that the Building Workers' Industrial Union of Australia launched in 1984 as the Building Unions Superannuation Scheme. Its trustee company, United Super, has a board with equal numbers of directors from the construction and building industries' member and employer associations. Cbus merged with Media Super in 2022 and with EISS Super in 2023, which made it a fund for energy and electrical workers too, and it is open to the public as well as industry workers.
