When the Nasdaq craters, the gap between 2x and 3x leverage stops being an academic footnote and starts costing real money. What investors in TQQQ discover the hard way, QLD holders already knew.

I rate the ProShares Ultra QQQ ETF a tactical Hold over a short-term horizon. QLD held its post-Fed support at $85.81, but its $86.96 closing price remains below its 20-day and 50-day moving averages. A close above approximately $89.20, accompanied by QQQ reclaiming $713 and stable or declining volatility, would support a tactical buy with initial and secondary objectives of $92.14 and $98-100.

South Korean retail investors net bought $4.5 billion of U.S. stocks in July as their home market corrected. Many are switching markets, not bets, retaining exposure to AI and leveraged products through U.S.-listed securities.

Uncertainty is creating opportunities for tactical investors. Explore ETFs positioned to capitalize on short-term moves across tech, energy and volatility.

ProShares Ultra QQQ ETF is revisited with a focus on portfolio fit and recommendation, not just mechanics. QLD has surpassed 20 years, delivering over 10,000% total return since inception, demonstrating powerful compounding. As a daily leveraged ETF, QLD can achieve outsized gains but carries the risk of total capital loss in sharp market downturns.

How much capital you may need for retirement depends on your personal situation and living expenses. We will discuss whether $500,000 is enough to retire. We will discuss how investing in an income-oriented bucket-based strategy enables you to earn a decent income and good growth while lowering the stress from the boom-and-bust cycles of the stock market. The Near-Perfect Portfolio Strategy targets 5% plus income, reduced drawdowns, and market-beating growth through two diversified buckets: a fund-based DGI bucket and a Rotation/Hedging strategy.

With AI optimism and easing Washington-Tehran tensions lifting markets, investors may consider these leveraged ETFs for amplified upside.

ProShares Ultra QQQ provides 2x daily leverage while ProShares UltraPro QQQ offers 3x daily leverage on the same underlying tech-heavy index. ProShares UltraPro QQQ has experienced a significantly deeper maximum drawdown of 81.80% compared to the 63.80% seen by ProShares Ultra QQQ.

The market environment is challenging, to say the least. We discuss how one should invest in today's market. The article presents five different investment strategies, including a fixed-income strategy, high-income strategy, sleep-well-at-night strategy, growth-focused strategy, and the Near-Perfect Portfolio strategy. Selecting a strategy aligned with personal risk tolerance and sticking to it through cycles is critical for long-term success.

There's been a lot of upbeat change in the Nasdaq since the last time Kevin Davitt (@nasdaq) appeared on our network in March. He examines the index's outperformance over recent years and how it compares to historical trends.
