Micron and Sandisk are getting many of their large customers to sign long-term agreements locking in price floors for years. Memory chip prices will continue to rise in the short term.

The Q3 earnings season has started off a bit mixed, with the growth pace and the revenue-beat percentage tracking lower relative to the recent past. Results so far are heavily weighted to Finance, and these initial mixed trends may shift as we head into the heart of the earnings cycle.

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--A cross-practice team at Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox served as U.S. International Trade Commission and Federal Circuit counsel to Netlist, Inc. in a series of patent disputes with Micron Technology, Inc. After several years of litigation, Netlist has reached a comprehensive settlement agreement with Micron. Under the agreements, Micron will receive a five-year term license to Netlist's patent portfolio, including patents covering server DIMMs and High Bandw.
