The VettaFi Editorial team met for a New York City onsite this week, confabbing over the latest news and important changes in the ETF ecosystem. As part of that gathering, writers and editors came together to share some of their favorite ETFs and ETF tickers, celebrating the creativity and innovation throughout.

VanEck Agribusiness ETF is up ~20% since last review, driven by geopolitical disruptions and government support for agriculture. I downgrade MOO to a hold, as tailwinds appear priced in and margin pressures may increase post-midterms and as supply chains stabilize. MOO's 2.12% dividend yield offers diversification, but negative ~18% TTM growth and rising input costs limit near-term upside.

A stronger El Nino could disrupt crops, energy and water systems, highlighting ETFs positioned for potential weather-driven demand.

A potentially powerful El Nino could disrupt crops, supply chains and energy markets.

VanEck Agribusiness ETF (MOO) remains a Buy as geopolitical and economic factors drive higher agricultural commodity prices and rising demand for supply chain companies. MOO has rebounded from its June 2026 low, staying well above critical long-term support and approaching key technical resistance at $86.56 per share. Portfolio diversification across fertilizers, machinery, processing, and food manufacturing, with top holdings including ADM and Bunge, positions MOO to benefit from global supply disruptions.

VanEck Agribusiness ETF (MOO) offers diversified global exposure to the agricultural value chain, tracking the MVIS Global Agribusiness Index. MOO trades at a steep discount to the S&P 500, with a 13.75x P/E and attractive dividend yield, enhancing its valuation appeal. Short-term catalysts include potential crop price upside and fertilizer supply disruptions, but near-term farm income and volatile input costs temper conviction.

For much of the past year, global markets have absorbed geopolitical shocks with surprising resilience.

As we venture toward the halfway point of 2026, the headline narrative for consumer food prices is one of stabilizing moderation. However, this masks a sharp structural divergence under the surface that potentially has implications for ETFs tracking different cross-sections of the consumer food space.
