Gold Explorers ETF is genuinely a bet on less established and perhaps only potentially gold-producing companies. GOEX's performance is tightly linked to gold prices, much like larger-cap focused mining ETFs and indices, which are also lower fee and less volatile. The Global X Gold Explorers ETF is a thematic, commodity-oriented, non-leveraged, focused on gold explorers and developers with an expense ratio of 0.65%. It differs from other ETFs due to its focus on explorers, which in my opinion places GOEX in the late cycle dimension. Considering the gold cycle and past evidence, it could prove to be a tactical choice.
