(NYSE: DSX), (the “Company”), a global shipping company specializing in the ownership and bareboat charter-in of dry bulk vessels, today announced that, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, it has entered into a time charter contract with Classic Maritime Inc., for one of its Capesize dry bulk vessels, the m/v G. P. Zafirakis. The gross charter rate is US$38,000 per day, minus a 5.00% commission paid to third parties, for a period until minimum October 1, 2027 up to maximum December 15, 2027. The charter is expected to commence on October 10, 2026. The m/v G. P. Zafirakis is currently chartered, as previously announced, to Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha, Tokyo, at a gross charter rate of US$26,800 per day, minus a 5.00% commission paid to third parties.

The gross charter rate is US$18,000 per day, minus a 5.00% commission paid to third parties, for a period until minimum May 1, 2028 up to maximum June 30, 2028. The charter is expected to commence on September 25, 2026. The m/v DSI Polaris is currently chartered, as previously announced, to Cargill Ocean Transportation (Singapore) Pte. Ltd, at a gross charter rate of US$12,250 per day, minus a 4.75% commission paid to third parties.

The gross charter rate is US$17,000 per day, minus a 4.75% commission paid to third parties, for a period until minimum September 1, 2027 up to maximum November 15, 2027. The charter is expected to commence on September 20, 2026. The m/v Astarte is currently chartered, as previously announced, to Propel Shipping Pte. Ltd., at a gross charter rate of US$12,500 per day, minus a 5.00% commission paid to third parties.

(NYSE: DSX), (the “Company”), a global shipping company specializing in the ownership and bareboat charter-in of dry bulk vessels, today announced that, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, it has extended the time charter contract with Cargill International SA, Geneva, for one of its Panamax dry bulk vessels, the m/v Leto. The gross charter rate is US$18,000 per day, minus a 4.75% commission paid to third parties, for a period until minimum September 1, 2027 up to maximum October 31, 2027. The new charter period is expected to commence on September 10, 2026. The m/v Leto is currently chartered, as previously announced, at a gross charter rate of US$12,750 per day, minus a 4.75% commission paid to third parties.

Diana Shipping Inc. is downgraded to Hold as forward earnings visibility remains unclear despite a strong YTD rally. DSX's Q2 revenue missed by $9 million, but technical momentum is robust with shares doubling since April 2025. Termination of the Genco acquisition is viewed positively, preserving balance sheet strength and focus on the core fleet.

Diana Shipping is upgraded from Hold to Buy with a $3.00 fair value after ending its Genco acquisition pursuit. The gross charter rate is US$30,500 per day, minus a 5.00% commission paid to third parties, for a period of minimum thirty-two (32) months up to maximum thirty-five and a half (35.5) months. The charter is expected to commence during the second quarter of 2027. The m/v Florida is currently chartered, as previously announced, to Bunge S.A., Geneva, at a gross charter rate of US$25,900 per day, minus a 5.00% commission paid to third parties.
