Direxion Daily Small Cap Bear 3x ETF

TZA

時価総額 $2.59億

The Direxion Daily Small Cap Bear 3X ETF (TZA) offers leveraged downside exposure to the Russell 2000, which led major indices with a 22.05% H1 2026 gain. With small-cap volatility elevated and multiple macro risks looming, the potential for a sharp correction in the Russell 2000 is significant heading into fall 2026. TZA is strictly a short-term trading tool, not an investment vehicle, requiring disciplined risk management due to leverage, time decay, and amplified losses.

New York, United States, June 26, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Direxion to Split Nine ETFs New York, United States, June 26th, 2026, NewsDirect Corrected CUSIPs for TECS and SOXS Direxion announced on June 10, 2026 it will execute forward share splits for two of its exchange-traded funds (“ETFs”), as well as reverse share splits for an additional seven ETFs. The total market value of the shares outstanding will not be affected as a result of these splits, except with respect to the redemption of fractional shares, as outlined below.

June is typically reserved for graduation processionals, with the “Pomp and Circumstance March No. 1 in D” blaring from PA systems or high-fidelity systems (depending on how well-funded the school is).

Although the broader equities market can occasionally vacillate between order and outright chaos, small-capitalization enterprises tend to amplify the extreme ends of behavioral distribution. By their nature, businesses that are less financially resourced must operate with tighter margins for error.

TZA is a leveraged inverse ETF offering -3x daily exposure to the Russell 2000, suitable only for short-term trading, not long-term investment. Due to daily compounding and index performance trends, holding TZA long-term risks substantial value decay and amplified losses. Upcoming interest rate cuts could benefit small-cap stocks, increasing the likelihood that TZA underperforms if the Russell 2000 rises.

Top Performing Leveraged/Inverse ETFs Last Week These were last week's top performing leveraged and inverse ETFs. Note that because of leverage, these kinds of funds can move quickly.

With the S&P 500 back in positive territory after April's tariff tantrum, small-caps have yet to catch up. When the uptrend starts or stalls, Direxion Investments has a pair of leveraged/inverse funds to ponder for small-cap plays.

TZA is a 3x leveraged inverse ETF tracking the Russell 2000, designed for daily trading, not long-term investing. Holding TZA over multiple days leads to losses due to daily resets and derivative time decay, especially in volatile markets. TZA can be useful for short-term speculation or as a hedge, but it's unsuitable for buy-and-hold strategies.

Market volatility boosts demand for leveraged and inverse-leveraged ETFs. A few of them gained more than 25% last month.

Small caps are in trouble, and TZA is one of my preferred ways to try to profit from that. The other is owning puts on IWM, the index ETFs that TZA essentially shorts at a 3:1 ratio. But options are on the verge of getting expensive as volatility spikes. TZA and other -3X ETFs require investors to do their homework, to understand the risks of both inverse and leveraged ETFs.
