Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SPCX) is advancing Starlink's transition toward direct-to-smartphone connectivity, with FCC approval for up to 15,000 satellites and a key spectrum purchase. The Leverage Shares 2X Long SPCX Daily ETF (SPCH), a 2x leveraged ETF on SpaceX, is high risk/reward, suffering from volatility decay and not suitable for long-term holding or sideways markets. SpaceX's financials remain weak, with significant losses, heavy CapEx, and profitability for Starlink Mobile likely years away, making the investment speculative.

Single-stock leveraged ETFs were unusual when they first arrived in the U.S. market just four years ago. Today, it might be hard to find a stock without one.

Record ETF inflows and the SpaceX leveraged ETF launch headlined this week's ETF Prime. Host Nate Geraci welcomed Kirsten Chang, senior industry analyst at VettaFi, for a mid-year checkup, followed by Paul Marino of Themes ETFs.

SpaceX SPCX is poised to become one of the fastest additions ever to the Nasdaq-100 index, triggering a new wave of demand from passive investors less than a month after its blockbuster public market debut. Nasdaq announced after the close on June 26, 2026 that SpaceX qualifies for inclusion in the technology-heavy benchmark.

SpaceX's (SPCX) demand post-IPO proves to Paul Marino that Wall Street has a huge appetite for new, innovative companies. He points to ETFs exposed to SpaceX his firm has and highlights strong demand trends backing the IPO launch. Slyvia Jablonski sees similar traction in ETFs her company offers. She explains how the Elon Musk-led stock is just the latest of many showing a growing trend of single-name leveraged ETFs.
