U.S. Ethereum (CRYPTO:ETH) funds ended a streak of 10 sessions of outflows with a temporary inflow of about $24.8 million on October 13, 2026. However, this positive shift didn't last long.

Jenny Kovacs returns to Crypto Corner and sits down with Adam Lynch of @CharlesSchwab to talk about the latest moves in Bitcoin and Ethereum. Though Bitcoin and Ethereum have pulled back from their recent rallies, Adam says that ETF inflows show a "much more constructive" picture compared to this time last year.

Ethereum ETFs just logged nine straight sessions of outflows and shed nearly $2 billion in assets, but the real story behind those numbers tells a very different tale about where institutional confidence actually stands.

Even though the cryptocurrency market saw choppy consolidation during the first week of October 2026, BlackRock Inc.'s (NYSE: BLK) crypto portfolio increased by more than $291 million.

Of the top 20 spot crypto ETFs, 12 are dedicated to Bitcoin and six to Ethereum. Bitcoin has the properties of both a risk-on and a risk-off asset, making it a unique portfolio diversifier.

Quant (CRYPTO: QNT) emerged as the most profitable cryptocurrency over the past week, even as the large-cap names struggled.

Bitcoin's ETFs drew in record inflows last week. That institutional confidence suggests brighter days are ahead.

Ethereum is the world's largest platform for developing decentralized software applications, which are popular in industries like gaming and financial services. Tom Lee, chairman of Bitmine Immersion Technologies, thinks Ethereum's native cryptocurrency, Ether, is poised for a major gain.

Although the crypto market capitalization surged by more than $260 billion between September 17, 2026, and September 24, BlackRock Inc. (NYSE: BLK) has accelerated its cryptocurrency acquisition, with over $1.5 billion during the same period.

BlackRock Inc. (NYSE: BLK) has bought cryptocurrency – via its spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs): iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), iShares Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHA), and iShares Staked Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHB) – valued at $843.78 million over the past 20 days.
