Jason Bodner (@MoneyFlowsCom) says indexes are looking great with the Nasdaq-100 (NDX) hitting all-time highs and the S&P 500 (SPX) not far behind. However, when you look under the surface, Jason points out that many stocks are seeing a bear market.

The Invesco NASDAQ Next Gen 100 ETF (QQQJ) was launched on October 13, 2020, and is a passively managed exchange traded fund designed to offer broad exposure to the Large Cap Growth segment of the US equity market.

As concerns grow about the market's biggest companies, investors are looking further down the market-cap scale. Mid-cap innovators are drawing more attention because they have more room to grow.

Invesco NASDAQ Next Gen 100 ETF tracks the NASDAQ Next Generation 100 Index, focusing on mid-cap, non-financial, innovative companies. QQQJ invests at least 90% of assets in benchmark securities, excluding financials, REITs, SPACs, and 'when-issued' stocks. With a 0.15% expense ratio and a trailing yield of 0.55%, QQQJ targets growth, not income, appealing to those seeking exposure to emerging tech leaders.

Invesco NASDAQ Next Gen 100 ETF offers exposure to the 101st–200th largest Nasdaq non-financials, targeting mid-cap growth potential. QQQJ recently outperformed QQQ and QQQM, but this is likely a short-term effect from capital rotation out of mega-caps. The fund's structure is flawed: top performers graduate into the Nasdaq-100, causing QQQJ to lose growth winners and retain laggards.
