HOUSTON, Oct. 16, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Moleculin Biotech, Inc., (Nasdaq: MBRX) (“Moleculin” or the “Company”), today announced that it filed an amendment to its amended and restated certificate of incorporation with the Secretary of State of the State of Delaware to effect a 1-for-20 reverse stock split of its common stock. The reverse stock split will take effect at 12:01 am (Eastern Time) on October 20, 2026, and the Company's common stock will open for trading on The Nasdaq Capital Market on October 20, 2026 on a post-split basis, under the existing ticker symbol “MBRX” but with a new CUSIP number 60855D 507.

(Nasdaq: MBRX) (“Moleculin” or the “Company”) today announced that it has completed and closed enrollment in Part A of its pivotal Phase 2/3 MIRACLE trial evaluating Annamycin in combination with cytarabine (AnnAraC) for the treatment of adults with relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia (R/R AML), with 89 subjects enrolled and an additional subject currently in screening. With Part A enrollment closed, the Company remains on track for its planned comprehensive data readout of Part A in the first quarter of 2027.
