Crypto ETFs have remained resilient in 2026 despite higher rates and legislative roadblocks. With bitcoin prices back near $85,000, bitcoin ETFs (and the broader crypto ETF universe) have been back on investors' radars.

Hyperliquid's explosive growth in decentralized RWA perpetual futures trading has driven HYPE token demand and outperformance vis-à-vis all other cryptos. The Grayscale Hyperliquid Staking ETF offers the lowest fee (0.29%) among HYPE ETFs, the highest staking ratio, and efficient exposure to HYPE. HYPG's yield is enhanced by staking rewards, though net yield is reduced by provider fees and exposes investors to smart contract and custodian risks.

Bitcoin has rebounded sharply from the low-$60,000s to around $80,000, gaining nearly 20% last week in one of its strongest weekly moves in years. The rally appears to reflect several forces working together: improving macro conditions, short covering, renewed regulatory optimism, and stronger demand through U.S.-listed crypto ETFs.

Key Takeaways: Bitcoin remains dominant, but that ETF demand has become more selective toward the lowest-cost products. Hyperliquid ETFs show that investors still reward differentiated use cases, flexibility, and credible growth narratives.

HYPE, or hyperliquid, ETFs attracted nearly $160 million in inflows within days of launch, even as bitcoin and ether ETFs dropped along with the prices of underlying cryptocurrencies. ETF experts say that investors are drawn to this new crypto space for its buyback model, which uses platform trading fees to repurchase HYPE tokens and creates a direct link between activity and value.
