Advisors and investors have certainly been keeping an eye on gold prices as of late, but what's going on with the gold miners themselves may be equally as interesting. Key Takeaways: Gold miners performed well in August, given that the precious metal offered a potent use case during the debasement trade and a weakening dollar.

Treasury Secretary Bessent insists on challenging the bond vigilantes, and neither side is backing down. The underlying trends are pointing toward volatility ahead and potentially much more.

Many sought-after metals have been logging significant price growth in recent months, and lithium is no exception. Key Takeaways: The price of lithium did quite well in August, as did the Sprott Lithium Miners ETF (LITP).

While many metals and commodities are worth keeping an eye on right now, one that may warrant particular focus is copper.  Key Takeaways: The price of spot copper saw a noticeable increase in July, rising 3.65% over the one month alone.

The global push, particularly in Western nations, towards advanced technology in the defense sector is amplifying the realization that critical supply chains run through China. For defense strategists, this reliance becomes a roadblock on the path to critical mineral independence.

Sprott Active Gold & Silver Miners ETF offers compelling exposure to gold and silver miners amid stagnant metal prices in 2026. Miners' free cash flow is at a 30-year high, supporting GBUG's attractive forward EV/EBITDA valuation of 6.2x versus a historical 8.8x. GBUG's active management and diversified holdings mitigate dispersion risk among miners, with strong momentum and Quant buy signals reinforcing the thesis.
