Acerca de: Fulcrum Therapeutics Inc is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing small molecules for genetically defined rare diseases. Its product candidate, Pociredir, is an oral small molecule designed to induce fetal hemoglobin (HbF) and is in clinical development for sickle cell disease (SCD). The company completed dosing in the Phase 1b PIONEER trial evaluating pociredir in adults with SCD and reported clinical data showing clinically relevant HbF induction and improvements in markers of hemolysis and anemia. The company has also generated a pipeline of clinical-stage and pre-clinical programs targeting the root causes of rare genetic diseases.
