The Bitwise Solana Staking ETF is rated a speculative BUY for long-term holders, leveraging both SOL appreciation and staking income. The institutional adoption of Solana and the wider tokenization of RWAs are both accelerating trends, with major players like Visa, Mastercard, Citi, and BlackRock integrating into the network. BSOL offers a competitive 0.20% expense ratio and the highest directly reported net staking reward rate (5.43%) among the various Solana ETFs, with $1.33B AUM.

The biggest Bitcoin fund has a habit of bouncing back. Picking an Ethereum fund without staking could mean avoiding some taxes associated with alternatives.

Currently, Bitcoin accounts for approximately 60% of the value of the entire crypto market. If this percentage dips below 60% for a sustained period of time, it could signal the arrival of "altcoin season.

A punishing period of declines for altcoins has left many cryptocurrency investors disappointed this year. Still, sentiment may be shifting.

Bitcoin has rebounded sharply from the low-$60,000s to around $80,000, gaining nearly 20% last week in one of its strongest weekly moves in years. The rally appears to reflect several forces working together: improving macro conditions, short covering, renewed regulatory optimism, and stronger demand through U.S.-listed crypto ETFs.

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Bitwise Asset Management, a global crypto asset manager, today announced a partnership with Superstate, a financial technology firm that partners with issuers and asset managers to bring securities onchain, to develop the capability for shares of certain Bitwise funds to be held in tokenized form. Under the framework the firms are developing, tokenization would change only the form in which share ownership is recorded.

If you own iShares Ethereum Trust ETF (NASDAQ:ETHA), you bought the cleanest institutional wrapper for Ethereum exposure: BlackRock's brand, a 0.25% expense ratio, and the deepest liquidity in the Ethereum ETF category.

Bitwise Solana Staking ETF (BSOL) is rated 'Hold' due to challenging macroeconomic conditions despite strong long-term Solana fundamentals. BSOL stands out among Solana ETFs for full staking participation, low 6% staking fee, 0.20% sponsor fee, and large AUM supporting liquidity. Solana network fundamentals remain resilient, with stablecoin supply near all-time highs and TVL well above previous bear market levels.

It was supposed to be the Year of Crypto in 2025 as we entered January with Bitcoin prices at all-time highs and a new digital asset-friendly administration set to take over in Washington. And while crypto has earned some regulatory wins over the last 12 months, the raucous rally never materialized.

The Bitwise Solana Staking ETF offers the most structurally attractive long-term Solana exposure due to its low staking fees, competitive expense ratio, and largest AUM. Despite Solana's robust network fundamentals, a ~70% drawdown and risk-off macro conditions warrant a 'Hold' rating for both SOL and Solana ETFs. Differences in fees, AUM durability, and index construction meaningfully affect compounded returns over time.
