IGV's sharp rebound signals the SaaSpocalypse is almost over, as AI adoption and strong software earnings revive the sector's recovery.

AI agents could reshape the software industry, disrupting seat-based models while creating new revenue opportunities. Here's what lies ahead.

Recent events indicate that the internal AI security efforts of model developers and enterprises may not be enough to control the new cybersecurity risks posed by these frontier models. 80% of chief information security officers (CISOs) surveyed by Boston Consulting Group ranked emerging AI-powered attacks as a critical or serious issue.

Launched on 09/28/2011, the State Street SPDR S&P Software & Services ETF (XSW) is a smart beta exchange traded fund offering broad exposure to the Technology ETFs category of the market.

August was a good month for tech stocks, especially software companies that had slumped earlier in the year.

The AI trade is entering a new phase. After years of infrastructure spending, the focus is shifting toward software that can turn computing power into revenue and productivity.

The iShares Expanded Tech-Software Sector ETF has rebounded, but AI-driven sector changes demand a more selective approach to software exposure. Earnings strength in software is currently sustained by price increases on renewals, not new customer growth, raising sustainability concerns.

If you're interested in broad exposure to the Technology - Software segment of the equity market, look no further than the State Street SPDR S&P Software & Services ETF (XSW), a passively managed exchange traded fund launched on September 28, 2011.

Cybersecurity stocks surged post-Black Hat USA 2026, driven by AI-centric product launches from CRWD, PANW, RBRK, and NOW. AI adoption introduces new security risks—such as data poisoning and agentic AI vulnerabilities—expanding the cybersecurity total addressable market.

Palantir Technologies Inc. delivered exceptional Q2 results, driving IGV and software sector outperformance with 93% YoY revenue growth and robust forward guidance. iShares Expanded Tech-Software Sector ETF's resilience is supported by strong earnings from Microsoft, ServiceNow, and cybersecurity leaders like Fortinet, validating the sector's recovery from April lows.
