Geopolitical tensions, oil shocks and the AI boom have fueled huge ETF gains in 2026. Explore five ETF areas up at least 85%.

BOSTON and SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- VistaShares, a leading issuer of actively-managed Liquid Alternative ETFs, is today celebrating the fact that its VistaShares Artificial Intelligence Supercycle® ETF (AIS) has passed $1 billion in assets under management.

A niche AI fund with almost no Nvidia is somehow lapping QQQ by a massive margin, and the reason why reveals a blind spot most investors have about where AI profits actually come from.

NVIDIA's 70% growth outlook reinforces the AI boom, benefiting ETFs targeting generative AI, quantum computing, robotics and next-gen software.

The VistaShares Artificial Intelligence Supercycle ETF (AIS) offers targeted exposure to AI infrastructure suppliers benefiting from ongoing capital spending. I rate AIS a BUY after a 22% pullback, expecting 12%–20% upside over 6–12 months, driven by robust demand for cooling, power, and memory. AIS stands out versus SMH and AIQ by focusing on cooling, power, and memory, not just semiconductors or software/cloud providers.

As artificial intelligence investing broadens beyond chips and large language models into robotics and automation, newer thematic ETFs are positioning themselves around what many investors call the next leg of the AI trade. VistaShares' Robotics Supercycle ETF (NYSE:RTOO), launched alongside the Space Supercycle ETF (NYSE:GALX) and Defense Supercycle ETF (NYSE:AMMO), is one such entrant aiming to capitalize on the growing “physical AI” trend.

VistaShares Artificial Intelligence Supercycle ETF offers differentiated AI infrastructure exposure by actively targeting supply chain components, not just dominant GPU names like NVIDIA. AIS's Bill of Materials approach yields less concentration—top 10 at 44%—with SK Hynix and Micron jointly at 16% and NVIDIA at just 2%. I see a 12-month price target of $93 (33% upside from ~$70), supported by hyperscaler AI capex forecasts exceeding $600 billion in 2026.

Markets are embracing the idea that we are in an AI supercycle. Investors are betting on a multi-decade technological shift, similar to the internet, that will transform industries, computing, and infrastructure.

SpaceX SPCX is poised to become one of the fastest additions ever to the Nasdaq-100 index, triggering a new wave of demand from passive investors less than a month after its blockbuster public market debut. Nasdaq announced after the close on June 26, 2026 that SpaceX qualifies for inclusion in the technology-heavy benchmark.

SpaceX stumbles post-IPO, but space ETFs offer a diversified way to play the long-term boom in the sector.
