Xponance Portfolio holdings
Xponance is an asset manager that builds portfolios for institutional clients by choosing and monitoring other investment firms, mostly smaller, up-and-coming ones. It took its current name in 2020 in a rebranding that combined two older firms, FIS Group, which began managing assets in 1996, and Piedmont Investment Advisors, which started in 2000. Tina Byles Williams is its founder, chief executive and chief investment officer, and the firm is owned entirely by its employees. Alongside the manager-selection work, Xponance runs its own stock and bond strategies, both active and passive, and its subsidiary Xponance Alts Solutions advises a private equity fund.
