If you held the Teucrium 2x Long Daily XRP ETF (NASDAQ:XXRP) into the close on Friday, you watched a 12% single-day drop turn an already grim year into something close to a wipeout.

XXRP is a 2x long daily leveraged ETF on XRP (not spot) with a TER of 1.89%. Leverage amplifies decay and this becomes evident as the investment time horizon widens. The underlying, XRP, is gaining interest relative to BTC/USD. The catalyst is an apparent programmed scarcity program.

XRP's spot ETFs are sucking in roughly $50 million a day in fresh capital, hitting nearly $1 billion in inflows in under four weeks, the fastest adoption pace since Ethereum ETFs launched. Yet the token itself has cratered 11% over the past ten days and sits near $1.72, well below the $2.
