The biggest names in cybersecurity—firms like CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. NASDAQ: CRWD—win a lot of investor interest, but some of the most resilient businesses in the industry may go unnoticed. With the rapid growth of AI and newfound concerns about cybersecurity threats, including via the Iran war and Anthropic's latest model Mythos, there are numerous industry tailwinds to help give these smaller names a boost.

Treasury and Fed urgently convened major bank CEOs to address cyber risks from Anthropic's new AI model, Mythos. Anthropic's Claude Mythos Preview, released to select partners, can identify software vulnerabilities better than most humans, heightening cybersecurity disruption fears.

He still feels it's a buy and believes it has plenty of upside. The company's latest AI-related announcement was particularly encouraging.

A leaked Anthropic blog post says an upcoming version of Claude could "far outpace" current cybersecurity defenses. Tenable investors are concerned that the company may not be able to keep up in the rapidly-evolving AI age.
