Tortoise Capital Celebrates One-Year Anniversary of Tortoise AI Infrastructure ETF (NYSE:TCAI)

TCAI: Investing Across The Data Center Development Lifecycle

Tortoise AI Infrastructure ETF offers diversified, actively managed exposure to the AI investment theme across sectors like energy, industrials, and technology. TCAI's portfolio is positioned to benefit from sustained demand in power infrastructure, data centers, and AI hardware, with notable holdings in DELL, PWR, and MYRG. Low enterprise adoption of agentic AI suggests a prolonged, multi-year growth cycle for AI infrastructure, supporting continued investment in TCAI's core holdings.

TCAI: One Of The Best Holds In The AI Infrastructure Trade

Tortoise AI Infrastructure ETF offers diversified AI infrastructure exposure, balancing digital and physical assets for superior risk-adjusted returns. TCAI's portfolio structure emphasizes physical infrastructure (~50%) over digital hardware, reducing beta and mitigating downside in volatile cycles. I view TCAI as one of the best Holds in the AI space, given its risk management and balanced exposure, but not a Buy due to valuation concerns.

TCAI: Strong Tailwinds, Priced-In Valuations

Tortoise AI Infrastructure ETF (TCAI) primarily invests in AI-enabling infrastructure with an objective for long-term capital appreciation and an active opportunistic allocation. TCAI has delivered ~68% returns since inception, but recent gains are laregley the results from multiple expansion and market-reratings, not structural cash flow growth. Current elevated valuations and sector enthusiasm reduce forward return expectations, despite strong AI infrastructure tailwinds and high demand prospetcs.

3 Straightforward ETF Plays to Build AI Exposure Into a Portfolio

Exceptional Q4 earnings and an impressive end to 2025 for tech leader NVIDIA Corp. NASDAQ: NVDA may indicate that the AI phenomenon isn't slowing down any time soon. Despite fears of a bubble, the AI industry is continuing its rapid expansion to a degree that makes it difficult for just about any sector or industry to ignore.
