About: SuRo Capital Corp is a non-diversified closed-end management investment company. The Company's investment objective is to maximize total return, mainly through capital gains on equity and equity-related investments, and to a lesser extent, income from debt investments. It invests mainly in equity securities of rapidly growing, venture capital-backed emerging companies. Investments are made through direct investments, secondary marketplaces, negotiations with selling stockholders, and investment funds or special purpose vehicles (SPVs). The Company may also invest in private credit, founder equity and warrants, and private investment in public equity (PIPE) transactions of special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs).
