Sonic Automotive: A Cheap Way To Play The Automotive Retail Market
Sonic Automotive remains attractively priced, trading at low multiples both absolutely and relative to peers, supporting my continued "Buy" rating. Revenue and cash flow are growing, with strong performance in new vehicles, fixed operations, and finance/insurance segments offsetting some industry headwinds. Profitability was impacted by one-time impairment charges, but core cash flow and EBITDA metrics improved, demonstrating business resilience.
