RZV: Soft Quality, Lackluster Growth Metrics To Detract From Returns
I reiterate the Hold rating on Invesco S&P SmallCap 600® Pure Value ETF due to its lackluster growth characteristics, small exposure to the quality factor, and weak past performance. The RZV portfolio has an over 5% adjusted weighted average EY but negative forward EPS and EBITDA growth rates. With its allocation to stocks with a B- Quant Profitability grade or higher at 23%, RZV is a too risky place to be at the moment.

RZV: High Turnover, Weak Profitability, Disappointing Performance
RZV holds many unprofitable small-cap companies, with only 1 out of its 10 holdings showing positive earnings in 2024. Dividend growth rate has been weak and volatile, with a CAGR of just 3.97% since 2007—below the average growth rate of the S&P 500. The fund trades at a 19x P/E, which doesn't seem well-supported by underlying fundamentals.

Small-Cap Wins in Q3: Top-Performing ETFs in Focus
Small caps staged a comeback in Q3, with ETFs like FESM, RZV, FYX, VTWV, JSML, IWO topping gains. While there are certain tariff risks, the Fed's rate cut potential is a plus.
