2025 has so far been a big year for leveraged ETFs. I wrote a research note on leveraged ETFs earlier this year (read more here) where I discussed some trends in the leveraged ETF market.

QQDN is a new leveraged ETF targeting -2x daily performance of the Nasdaq-100 Mega Index, designed for short-term speculation or hedging. Leveraged ETFs like QQDN are not suitable for long-term holding due to daily resets, derivative time decay, and volatility drag. Liquidity and trading volume are currently limited, so bid/ask spreads may be wide until the fund gains size and activity.
