I have been writing about ETFs since I started on Seeking Alpha two years ago, and it's been great in terms of engagement compared to writing about stocks. That being said, there are some tricks to writing about ETFs that analysts may miss. They are different from stocks and other funds in weird ways! Writing about ETFs can be very rewarding, especially on the engagement front, as articles tend to have longer shelf lives with readers and higher engagement levels (at least from my experience).

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Simplify announced today that it expects to deliver capital gains distributions across six Simplify ETFs.

Simplify Multi-Qis Alternative ETF offers exposure to a portfolio of second- and third-party quantitative strategies across various asset classes. The fund aims to capture premium returns across equity, interest rate, commodity, currency, and credit markets. QIS provides a diversified multifactor portfolio and offers daily liquidity, no lockups, no incentive fees, and no K-1 tax forms.

QIS is a well diversified quant ETF. It has a multi-manager, multi-asset and multi-strategy approach. Compared to hedge funds, the cost is low with more transparency.

After a sturdy run so far this year, Wall Street started to waver in mid-March, following the release of hot U.S. inflation data and the rise in bond yields.

ETFs serve a lot of purposes, including attempting to replace hedge funds at a lower cost and with greater transparency. QIS is an ETF launched last year by alternatives firm Simplify, and pursues that path. We rate QIS a hold for now, but are watching carefully to see if this can eventually fill a gap in portfolios.
