In this risk-on market, levered themes have gathered inflows along with some outsized YTD returns. Many of today's levered ETFs are single-stock ETFs focused on high-flying companies such as Palantir.

Logically speaking, the release of Palantir's Q1 earnings results appear like they should spark an increase in price. But by falling as much as 14%, it's a reminder to traders to always be ready for anything.

The recent price weakness in Nvidia and Palantir could mean the proverbial air is coming out of the AI hype balloon. Nonetheless, traders have options if AI does experience a slowdown.
