Principal Financial Group is downgraded to "Hold" as shares approach fair value after a strong run and in-line Q4 results. PFG's 2026 EPS outlook of $9.20–$9.45 and robust capital returns are largely priced in, limiting further upside. Solid segment performance, disciplined underwriting, and $1.6 billion in excess capital support continued buybacks and dividend growth.
