About: Old Dominion Freight Line is the second-largest less-than-truckload carrier in the United States (following FedEx Freight), with roughly 260 service centers and 11,000-plus tractors. It is one of the most disciplined and efficient providers in the trucking industry, and its profitability and capital returns are well above those of its peers. Strategic initiatives focus on increasing network density through market-share gains and on maintaining industry-leading service (including ultralow cargo claims) through steadfast infrastructure investment.

40% Of My Portfolio Is In Just 3 Stocks
My portfolio is highly concentrated, with 40% in Old Dominion Freight Line, Texas Pacific Land, and LandBridge, reflecting high-conviction investing. ODFL offers unique LTL logistics, a pristine balance sheet, and real estate advantages, while TPL and LB provide exposure to Permian water, surface rights, and emerging AI data center trends. Both TPL and LB are shifting from traditional energy royalties to secular growth in water management and potential multi-decade data center cash flows, though execution risk remains.

My Favorite Place To Put New Money Is Getting Cheaper
I am deploying capital into high-quality cyclical value stocks with pricing power and secular tailwinds amid ongoing market volatility. I expect inflation to remain 'higher for longer,' making inflation protection and selective stock picking crucial for long-term outperformance. Old Dominion Freight Line, Sunbelt Rentals, and TransDigm exemplify my focus: strong balance sheets, capacity advantages, and unique market positions.
