Newcleo said on Wednesday it will go public in the U.S. through a blank-check deal ​that values the nuclear power startup at about $2.4 ‌billion on a pre-money basis.

Newcleo Ltd. (“newcleo” or the “Company”) is an established nuclear energy company developing advanced modular, lead-cooled fast reactors (LFRs) and mixed oxide (MOX) nuclear fuel from reprocessed nuclear materials.

The deal, which values the developer at about $2.4 billion, follows a wave of nuclear companies going public to serve AI's surging power needs.
