VanEck Bitcoin ETF offers significantly higher assets under management than Hashdex Nasdaq Crypto Index US ETF. Hashdex Nasdaq Crypto Index US ETF provides diversified exposure to both bitcoin and ether while VanEck Bitcoin ETF focuses exclusively on bitcoin.

New York, March 16 , 2026 – Hashdex Asset Management Ltd. (“Hashdex”), a leading global crypto asset manager, announced, effective today, it has reduced the management fee for the Hashdex Nasdaq CME Crypto™ Index ETF (NCIQ) to 0.25% per annum, replacing the temporary fee waiver that had been in effect.

The performance of digital assets in recent months, especially bitcoin, has been testing investor conviction in both the category's near-term growth potential as well as bitcoin's standing as a gold-like store of value and a key character in the debasement trade story.

FBTC commands much higher assets under management than NCIQ, but trading volumes are similar. FBTC delivers pure Bitcoin exposure, while NCIQ tracks a broader crypto index and may offer greater diversification.

Hashdex Nasdaq Crypto Index US ETF offers diversified crypto exposure but is heavily weighted toward bitcoin, closely tracking its performance.

The launch of multi-token crypto products (i.e., crypto index ETFs) signals that many issuers believe the next growth phase in crypto ETFs will be driven by investors who want a rules-based basket approach rather than single asset calls.

For years, U.S. investors looking to gain crypto exposure have faced an unenviable dilemma: either go all-in on a single-asset ETF or wrestle with the complexities of managing wallets, exchanges, and private keys. Neither option offered the one thing most investors actually want: diversified exposure in a simple, regulated format.
