The Company will continue with its core strategy of developing real estate and operating its Mexican hotel and resort business while simultaneously leveraging its operating cash flows, substantial real estate holdings, and access to capital markets to build a robust Bitcoin Treasury.

LONDON, Sept. 12, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MURANO GLOBAL INVESTMENTS PLC (“Murano” or the “Company”) (NYSE: MRNO), announced today the closing of an offering of U.S.$300,000,000 aggregate principal amount of 11.000% Senior Secured Notes due 2031 (the “Notes”) by (i) a trust created under the laws of Mexico (such trust, the “Issuer Trust”). The Notes are guaranteed by Murano PV, S.A. de C.V., a Murano sub-holding entity incorporated in Mexico (the “Murano Parent Guarantor”), Operadora Hotelera G.I., S.A. de C.V. (the “Operator Guarantor”), and two other Mexican law-governed trusts (the “Murano 2000 Trust” and the “Murano 3224 Trust”). Murano acted as sponsor of the Notes issuance pursuant to a Sponsor Support and Indemnification Agreement.

(“Murano” or “Company”, Nasdaq: MRNO) announced today that its board of directors has authorized a new share repurchase program under which the Company may repurchase up to US$2 million of its ordinary shares until the end of the last business day of the third quarter in 2024, U.S. Eastern Time. The Company plans to adopt and implement this share repurchase program in accordance with applicable rules and requirements under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, and the Company's insider trading policies.
