MMLG: Growth ETF Lagging The Competition
First Trust Multi-Manager Large Growth ETF (MMLG) is an actively managed ETF with a focus on mega caps and technology. MMLG has impressive growth metrics, but it is uncompelling compared to passive “Large Growth” ETFs showing better returns, lower risk and cheaper fees. In particular, SCHG, MGK, IWF, VUG and IVW have outperformed MMLG since its inception and are less volatile.
