The Facebook page was taken down for “violating our policies against coordinated harm,” according to Meta.

Meta Platforms (META -0.90%) is likely to deliver one of the most closely watched quarterly reports of the upcoming earnings season. With the company spending heavily to transition the social media giant into a more artificial intelligence (AI)-focused operation, investors will have all the more reason to focus on the "Magnificent Seven" stock.

Meta removed a Facebook group page on Tuesday that was allegedly used to "dox and target" U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Chicago after being contacted by the Department of Justice. Attorney General Pam Bondi revealed the Facebook takedown in an X post, which a Meta spokesperson confirmed, but declined to provide specific details.

The U.S. Justice Department said on Tuesday that Meta had complied with its request to take down a page on its Facebook platform that the agency said was being used to harass ICE agents in Chicago.

Three years after removing its job listings feature, Facebook is bringing it back to users in the U.S., focusing on helping people find local jobs in entry-level, trade, and service sectors.

META's stock has seen a solid 43% rise in the last six months. This growth is primarily fueled by a mix of factors, including upbeat quarterly performance and significant AI investments that boosted the core advertising business, leading to a rise in ad impressions and ad prices.

JP Morgan analysts remain bullish on Amazon.com Inc (NASDAQ:AMZN) and expect the company's Amazon Web Services (AWS) growth to accelerate during the second half of the year, driven by core cloud growth and AI led by Anthropic and Project Rainier.  In a note to clients on Tuesday, the analysts also see Amazon benefitting from better-than-expected consumer spending, while viewing its valuation as being attractive on a price-to-earnings and free cash flow basis.
