NEW YORK , Nov. 6, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Roundhill Investments, an ETF sponsor focused on innovative financial products, today announced plans to close and liquidate the following ETFs: Fund Name Ticker CUSIP Roundhill Alerian LNG ETF LNGG 53656G423 Roundhill S&P® Global Luxury ETF LUXX 53656G431 Roundhill S&P® Dividend Monarchs ETF KNGS 77926X106 Roundhill Daily Inverse Magnificent Seven ETF MAGQ 77926X809   Based on the recommendation of Roundhill Financial Inc. (the "Adviser"), the Board of Trustees for Listed Funds Trust and Roundhill ETF Trust determined it would be in the best interests of the Funds and their shareholders to liquidate each of the Funds. Shares of the Funds will cease trading on the listing exchange following the market close on November 27, 2024.

Roundhill Investments this year launched an inverse Mag 7 ETF aiming for daily -100% return on the biggest mega-caps of our time, the Roundhill Daily Inverse Magnificent Seven ETF. The MAGQ ETF is a small fund with assets under management of a little over $600,000, investing in equal-weighted Mag 7 swaps with a reasonable 0.95% expense ratio. The strategy involves betting against Mag 7 stocks' high valuations, utilizing technical indicators to time entry and exit points to offset losses on long positions.

Last week witnessed the largest collective loss for the "Magnificent Seven" technology-related stocks due to higher rates and rich valuation of those stocks.

Investors can now make turbocharged bets on or against the Magnificent Seven group of stocks due to the launch of an exchange-traded product offering five times leverage on the hot megacap technology sector. Of course, that doesn't mean they should.
