India's Adani Enterprises said on Thursday its unit Kutch Copper Ltd (KCL) has signed a non-binding deal with Australia's Caravel Minerals to accelerate development of a copper project in Western Australia.

Tertiary Minerals PLC (AIM:TYM, OTC:TTIRF) has kicked off a fresh round of drilling at its Mushima North Project in Zambia, targeting further extensions of promising silver, copper and zinc mineralisation identified earlier this year. The AIM-listed explorer said around 1,000 metres of reverse circulation drilling is planned at Target A1, located roughly 28 kilometres east of the historic Kalengwa copper-silver mine, which is now being redeveloped.

Midnight Sun Mining Corp (TSX-V:MMA, OTCQB:MDNGF) announced initial assay results, representing eight diamond drill holes, from the 2025 drilling campaign on the Kazhiba Main target at its flagship Solwezi Project in Zambia, which included 7.39% copper over 14.86 metres (m) from 17m to 31.86m depth in hole MSZ-25-029E.   The exploration company said drilling has intercepted new zones of “significant” oxide copper mineralization within the existing mineralized footprint.

Power Metallic Mines Inc (TSX-V:PNPN, OTCQB:PNPNF) announced assay results from its summer drill program on the Lion Zone at its Nisk Project in Quebec, which included 5.35 meters of 11.97% copper.   The Canadian exploration company said the summer drill program was designed to search for extensions to the Lion Zone, specifically down plunge from known mineralization, and to infill drill, including 'edge' holes, on the Lion zone to define the zone geometry to a confidence level that would allow a future mineral resource estimate to be carried out to an Indicated Resource classification.

Falls in shares of London's mining heavyweights weighed on the FTSE 100 on Tuesday morning, as copper and iron ore prices fell.  Anglo American PLC (LSE:AAL) shares fell 3.4% and Antofagasta PLC (LSE:ANTO) dropped 3.1%, two of the more copper-focused miners, while Glencore PLC (LSE:GLEN) declined 2.4% and Rio Tinto Ltd (LSE:RIO, ASX:RIO, OTC:RTNTF) decreased 1.9%.

It is starting to feel crowded on the list of miners warning of thinner copper output. Anglo American PLC (LSE:AAL) has joined the queue, trimming its 2026 production plans after more disappointing grades at its big Chilean mine, Collahuasi.

Anglo Asian Mining Plc (LSE:AAZ, OTC:AGXKF) has signed a sales agreement with commodities trader Trafigura for copper concentrate produced at its Demirli mine in Karabakh, Azerbaijan. The deal includes a revolving prepayment facility of up to $25 million, giving the miner access to working capital as production ramps up.

Celsius Resources Ltd (ASX:CLA, AIM:CLA) shares rose 5% to 0.58p after the company said its Maalinao-Caigutan-Biyog (MCB) copper-gold project in the Philippines is moving closer to operational readiness, with technical and financing work progressing on schedule. The company reported solid progress on its front-end engineering design (FEED) and an updated feasibility study, both targeted for completion by December.

The AIM-listed explorer said about 1,000 metres of new drilling will start in early November at Target A1, a site 28km east of the historic Kalengwa copper-silver mine, which is currently being redeveloped.

Tertiary Minerals PLC (AIM:TYM, OTC:TTIRF) has confirmed that KoBold Metals, the Silicon Valley-backed exploration company, will move to the next stage of its copper exploration programme in Zambia after completing the first phase of drilling under their partnership. KoBold, which uses artificial intelligence to identify mineral deposits, has met the Stage 1 requirements of its earn-in agreement on the Konkola West Copper Project, having drilled two holes totalling 4,153 metres, more than double the minimum commitment.
