iShares Systematic Alternatives Active ETF is a newly launched, actively managed multi-asset ETF targeting long-term total return. IALT employs a systematic, model-driven approach blending market-neutral long-short equities, corporate bonds, and extensive derivatives exposure in stock indexes, bonds, commodities, and currencies. The ETF has outperformed SPY, BND, and several multi-strategy competitors in its first three months but lacks a sufficient track record for robust evaluation.
