About: Hershey is a leading us confectionery manufacturer (around a $25 billion market), controlling around 36% of the domestic chocolate space (per Euromonitor). Beyond its namesake label, the firm's mix has expanded over the last 85 years and now consists of 100 brands, including Reese's, Kit Kat, Kisses, and Ice Breakers. Hershey's products are sold in about 80 countries, albeit with just a high-single-digit percentage of sales coming from markets outside the us, including Brazil, India, and Mexico. The firm has sought inorganic opportunities to extend its reach beyond its core confection business, adding Amplify Snack Brands and its Skinny Pop ready-to-eat popcorn to its mix, Pirate Brands, and Dot's Pretzels over the past few years.

Hershey: You Don't Need AI To Make Money; All You Need Is Candy Bar
Investing in "boring" businesses like Hershey can be profitable, especially when tech stocks are overvalued and consumer staples are overlooked. Hershey's current stock decline is due to high cocoa prices, but historical trends suggest recovery once prices normalize. Health food trends and GLP-1 drugs pose minimal long-term threats to Hershey, as consumer demand for chocolate remains strong.

Where I'd Put $10,000 Right Now - My Best Dividend Picks For Income And Growth
I started investing with a modest $4,000, now growing it into a 23-stock portfolio. The median net worth varies by age, but most can invest $10,000 for growth. The goal here isn't to push random picks, but to offer long-term dividend ideas. I connect my choices to the broader economic picture, from undervalued essentials to GARP stocks. In this article, I highlight undervalued consumer staples, GARP stocks, and investment ideas linked to potential political changes, all aimed at steady dividend growth.

Could Buying Hershey Stock Today Set You Up for Life?
The Hershey Company (HSY 1.32%) needs little introduction given its position as one of the largest confectionery companies in the United States. You have probably indulged in one of its products, like a Hershey bar or Reese's, sometime in the recent past.

Hershey: Upgrade To Hold, Near Dog Collar Range Post-Earnings
I upgraded Hershey from a sell to a hold due to its historical profitability and potential for recovery despite recent struggles. The "dog collar" strategy involves using options to manage risk, setting limited downside while retaining upside potential. HSY's dividend yield is at a 7-year high, signaling a potentially attractive entry point, but caution is advised until further price action confirms stability.

The dominance of the Magnificent Seven stocks may be fading as investors broaden their focus beyond Big Tech. While the group of market-leading companies, including Nvidia, Meta, and Amazon, continues to drive gains, other sectors are beginning to outperform, according to a report by Barron's.

Hershey: Price Increases Won't Keep Up With Historically High Cocoa Costs
Hershey expects the surge in cocoa prices to continue to outpace the company's price increases on its chocolate products. As a result, the company expects to see its adjusted gross profit margin contract this year, Hershey Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Steve Voskuil said Thursday (Feb. 6) in prepared remarks for the company's quarterly earnings call.
