General Dynamics: From Submarines To Cyber, Built To Last
General Dynamics is a diversified defense leader, well-positioned to benefit from rising global military spending and geopolitical tensions. General Dynamics's record $100B+ backlog, double-digit revenue and profit growth, and strong cash generation justify its sector-leading valuation premium. Despite trading at higher multiples, its robust balance sheet, expanding margins, and projected 12% EPS CAGR support a long-term buy thesis.

General Dynamics: Shares Look Cheap And Deserve To Rise Thanks To Recent Wins
General Dynamics is experiencing robust growth across all four operating segments, with a significant surge in backlog and improving profitability in 2024 and 2025. Backlog has jumped to $103.68 billion, up 13.6% year-over-year, supporting management's optimistic outlook for continued revenue and earnings growth. Shares trade at a discount to industry peers, making the current valuation attractive given the company's strong fundamentals and sector tailwinds.

General Dynamics: Strong Q2 Results Reinforce Upside Case
I reiterate my Buy rating on General Dynamics, raising my fair value target to $380, reflecting an 18% upside potential after strong Q2 results. Q2 2025 saw robust revenue and margin growth, driven by Aerospace and Marine Systems, with management upgrading full-year guidance for revenue and EPS. Valuation remains attractive: GD trades at a discount to fair value based on DCF and peer multiples, despite double-digit EPS growth and a record backlog.

10-Year Yields Consolidate, Potential Catalyst for Defense Stocks
Markets opened mixed to start Tuesday's trading session. Kevin Green urges investors to keep consumer confidence top of mind as it can serve as an indicator to price action ahead. On treasuries, he points to consolidation in the 10-year yield as a normal signal that starts a rate cutting cycle for the Fed. However, Kevin adds that volatility remains unseasonably low, which can ramp higher with potential market moving events on the calendar ahead. Technicals for defense stocks also show potential for a breakout in the weeks ahead.
