General Dynamics: Locked-In Revenues, Expanding Margins; Time To Accumulate Shares
General Dynamics offers a balanced business model with stable government contracts, strong cash flow, and resilient multi-segment growth, making it attractive for conservative investors. Q1 2025 results exceeded expectations, with double-digit revenue and EPS growth, driven by robust demand in both defense and business aviation segments. My DCF valuation indicates a 13% upside to fair value, with limited downside risk due to manageable debt, consistent buybacks, and a 2.5% dividend yield.

General Dynamics: Buy Rating Backed By Margin Inflection And Strategic Deliveries
We initiate on General Dynamics at Buy based on a structural margin inflection across Aerospace and Marine Systems that we see as underappreciated. Our PT of $324 is based on a forward EV/EBITDA multiple of 11.5x applied to our FY26E EBITDA of $7.6bn. We model EBITDA of $6.8bn and $7.6bn for FY25E and FY26E, respectively, which is 4-10% above consensus on margin expansion from Gulfstream and Marine Systems.

No Rolex For Me - I'm Buying Dividends That Pay For Life
I love luxury watches, but buying more to "earn" access to rarer models made me realize how easy it is to waste capital chasing ego-driven goals. Unlike watches, dividend growth stocks offer reliable long-term returns. A $10K McDonald's investment in 2004 would've yielded over $22K in dividends alone. History shows that strong-yielding dividend stocks, especially those in the second quintile, have consistently outperformed the market with lower risk.
