Historical patterns, on-chain metrics, and the realized price near $53,000 all suggest a cyclical bottom is imminent.

July 1 (Reuters) - Citigroup slashed its 12-month forecasts for bitcoin and ether, saying weakening investor appetite, negative exchange-traded fund flows and ​a lack of progress on U.S. digital asset legislation have ​hurt the outlook for the two largest cryptocurrencies.

Crypto investors had hoped that increased institutional adoption and a crypto-friendly administration could help the largest cryptocurrency avoid the painful cycles it once experienced.
