FUNL is an actively managed large-cap value fund that relies on a proprietary analysis process called "Fundametrics". Its expense ratio is 0.50% and the ETF has $202 million in assets. The strategy is sound, with FUNL ranking well in my fundamentals-driven rankings system. Performance has also been solid, with FUNL beating its benchmark, the Russell 1000 Value Index. Unfortunately, FUNL plans to liquidate in January 2026, so shareholders face tax consequences, uneven tracking, and increased transaction costs for those holding until the end.
