DIV: The 7% Yield Comes With Some Serious Drawbacks
Global X SuperDividend U.S. ETF offers a high yield but suffers from limited growth prospects and lackluster historical share price performance. The fund's portfolio is concentrated in real estate, utilities, and energy. These sectors do not tend to post high dividend growth rates. I somewhat prefer this fund to the international version of the SuperDividend ETF, but that's not enough to warrant a buy.

DIV: A Textbook Case Of Yield Trap
Global X SuperDividend U.S. ETF offers a high 6.7% yield but suffers from poor risk-adjusted returns and declining share prices. DIV's sector allocation favors energy, real estate, and utilities, but these sectors face macroeconomic headwinds and concentration risk. Despite diversification across 50 stocks, DIV's low-quality holdings and high expense ratio undermine its defensive income strategy.
