For the second week in a row, launches of new ETFs have been sluggish, to say the least. Granted, the five launches that took place this past week were more than the two that launched in the week ended April 19.

The week ending in February 15 featured the Exchange conference in Miami, Florida, and launches were muted as a result. Only one new ETF made its debut during the week.

Defiance ETFs has launched the Defiance Israel Bond ETF (NYSE Arca: CHAI) to provide exposure to the Israeli bond market. The fund begins trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
