Thus far, 2025 has not been an especially kind year for the U.S. dollar. However, this could have upsides for bitcoin.

As recent GDP numbers have shown, the U.S. economy still has a ways to go before it finds solid footing. For now, inflationary pressures, trade disputes, and concerns of a potential recession might continue to weigh on U.S. equities.

At this point, many advisors may have accepted that investing in bitcoin comes with significant price volatility. During any given point during the week, bitcoin's price could easily swing upwards or downwards, based on asset performance, macro conditions, or even a combination of both.
