BSTZ: Still An Attractive Buy Due To Positive Outlook
BSTZ offers a compelling 12% yield and potential capital appreciation, making it attractive for income-focused investors despite a smaller NAV discount. Interest rate cuts could serve as a strong growth catalyst, especially given BSTZ's tech-heavy portfolio and reliance on net realized gains for distributions. The fund's strategy blends global tech exposure, private investments, and option writing, but its income focus makes it more vulnerable to market downturns.

BSTZ: 8% Discount To NAV And I'm Bullish Heading Into Nvidia Earnings
BSTZ offers a compelling 12% yield and trades at a -7.65% discount to NAV, with a term trust structure guaranteeing a future liquidity event at NAV. The term trust structure of BSTZ provides downside protection and the potential for capital appreciation as the NAV discount closes at dissolution in 2031. BSTZ's portfolio is well-positioned for a lower rate environment, with significant exposure to technology and AI, especially Nvidia, ahead of anticipated strong earnings.

5 Closed-End Fund Buys In The Month Of July 2025
With the month of July closing out, we are once again seeing the broader equity markets pushing to new all-time highs. As we enter into new all-time highs, we appear to be looking quite stretched on valuations, and CEF discounts have been narrowing.

A 13% Dividends From AI? Here Are The Tickers
By now you've no doubt heard the argument that AI is a bubble, and there's no way Big Tech will make a significant profit from it, given the massive amounts of cash they've already piled in.

5 Best CEFs This Month For Yields Up To 15% (June 2025)
For income investors, closed-end funds remain an attractive investment class that covers various asset classes and promises high distributions and reasonable total returns. Closed-end funds, or CEFs, are generally characterized by higher volatility and deeper drawdowns than the broader market. For these reasons, they are not suited for everyone. In this monthly series, we highlight five CEFs with solid track records that pay high distributions and offer "excess" discounts. We try to separate the wheat from the chaff using our filtering process to select just five CEFs every month from around 500 closed-end funds.

Dividend Harvesting Portfolio Week 224: $22,400 Allocated, $2,349.12 In Projected Dividends
Despite a market pullback, my Dividend Harvesting Portfolio delivered positive returns and increased income, showcasing the benefits of diversification and disciplined reinvestment. I added to VICI, NNN, BSTZ, and MSTY, targeting high-yield, stable, and discounted assets poised to benefit from future Fed rate cuts and sector trends. The portfolio's forward dividend income and YoY growth remain strong, with reinvestment and sector allocation driving compounding income and downside risk mitigation.

5 Closed-End Fund Buys In The Month Of May 2025
The market saw a strong continuing recovery in May from April's market drop. The rebound was enough to see the drop recover entirely that was seen in April, but the markets still remain off all-time highs seen in February. While there wasn't as much in terms of opportunity for buying as there was in April, I add to my CEF positions every month regardless.
