Bitcoin gained 12.7% in April, registering back-to-back monthly gains and its best month since April 2025. The run was driven by leveraged trading activity in the derivatives market while demand for the spot bitcoin contracted, signaling weakness in the rally, according to CryptoQuant.

GraniteShares' 3x Long and 3x Short XRP ETFs were supposed to launch on NASDAQ today, April 23.

However, an October high couldn't last, and despite making a modest recovery to end the year, BTC is once again plummeting early in 2026.

The new potential ETF will hold Bitcoin, Ether, Solana, Cronos, and Ripple directly, with 70% of its assets invested in Bitcoin.
