The Harbor AlphaEdge Next Generation REITs ETF employs an enhanced indexing investment approach that seeks to track the performance of the Harbor AlphaEdge Next Generation REITs Index. The first quarter of 2025 saw a return of volatility to financial markets, which resulted in mixed investment results across risk assets. During Q1, the fund returned 0.54% (NAV), underperforming the Harbor AlphaEdge Next Gen REITs Index, which returned 0.72%, and underperforming its benchmark, the FTSE NAREIT All Equity REITS Total Return Index, which returned 2.75%.

On Thursday, Harbor Capital bolstered its ETF suite with the launch of the Harbor AlphaEdge Next Generation REITs ETF (AREA) and the Harbor AlphaEdge Large Cap Value ETF (VLLU).
