About: America Movil is the largest telecom carrier in Latin America, serving about 290 million wireless customers across the region. It also provides fixed-line phone, internet access, and television services in most of the countries it serves. Mexico is the firm's largest market, providing about 35% of service revenue. Movil dominates the Mexican wireless market with more than 60% customer share and also serves about half of fixed-line internet access customers in the country. Brazil, its second most important market, provides about 20% of service revenue. Movil sold its low-margin wireless resale business in the US to Verizon in 2021 and now owns a 1.4% stake in the US telecom giant. The firm also holds a 60% stake in Telekom Austria.

Diamonds In The Rough: 10 Emerging Markets Stocks To Buy Now
The MSCI Emerging Markets Index (EEM) is up +10% YTD in a rare rally as President Donald Trump's back-and-forth tariff policies weigh on the US dollar. Stocks have begun to rebound amid a temporary trade truce between the U.S. and China, but tariffs and inflation still threaten further volatility down the line. Geographical diversification is a great way to hedge against volatility while also complementing a well-balanced portfolio.

America Movil Is Finally Turning A Corner
Business performance and cash flow have improved, alongside a stock price decline, supporting a new price target of $23.72, a 65% upside potential. Postpaid growth, ARPU improvements, and EBITDA expansion signal the success of management's strategy, while reduced peso volatility and declining interest rates are easing financial risks. Rising trade protectionism poses a potential challenge, but América Móvil's reduced capital expenditures and localized market strategies help offset this risk, supporting a 'Buy' rating.
