About: America Movil is the largest telecom carrier in Latin America, serving about 300 million wireless customers across the region. It also provides fixed-line phone, internet access, and television services in most of the countries it serves. Mexico is the firm's largest market, providing about 35% of service revenue. Movil dominates the Mexican wireless market with about 60% customer share and also serves about half of fixed-line internet access customers in the country. Brazil, its second most important market, provides about 20% of service revenue. Movil sold its low-margin wireless resale business in the US to Verizon in 2021 and now owns a 1.4% stake in the US telecom giant. The firm also holds a 61% stake in Telekom Austria.

América Móvil: A Core Holding For LatAm Telecom And Tech Trends
América Móvil boasts sector-leading margins, robust cash flow, and a dominant LatAm position, yet trades at a deep valuation discount versus peers. Q2 2025 results confirmed accelerating revenue, EBITDA, and net profit growth, alongside ongoing deleveraging and strong operational execution across mobile and fixed services. Despite regulatory and FX risks, América Móvil's financial discipline, growth-adjusted metrics (PEG 0.45x), and high profitability signal undervaluation and medium-term upside.

Diamonds In The Rough: 10 Emerging Markets Stocks To Buy Now
The MSCI Emerging Markets Index (EEM) is up +10% YTD in a rare rally as President Donald Trump's back-and-forth tariff policies weigh on the US dollar. Stocks have begun to rebound amid a temporary trade truce between the U.S. and China, but tariffs and inflation still threaten further volatility down the line. Geographical diversification is a great way to hedge against volatility while also complementing a well-balanced portfolio.
