Aware Super Portfolio holdings
Aware Super is an Australian retirement fund that began in 1992 as First State Super for New South Wales government employees and grew through a string of mergers. It joined with VicSuper in 2020 to take the Aware name, absorbed WA Super that December, and completed a merger with the Victorian Independent Schools Superannuation Fund in 2021. Earlier, First State Super opened to anyone in 2006 and merged with Health Super, a fund for health care and community services workers, in 2012. Aware Super is a profit-for-members fund, and in 2023 it opened a London office to make its own investments in UK and European property, infrastructure and private equity.
