About: Wireless services account for nearly 75% of Verizon Communications' total service revenue and nearly all of its operating income. The firm serves about 93 million postpaid and 20 million prepaid phone customers via its nationwide network, making it the largest US wireless carrier. Fixed-line telecom operations include local networks in the Northeast, which reach about 30 million homes and businesses, including about 20 million with the Fios fiber optic network. These networks serve about 8 million broadband customers. Verizon also provides telecom services nationwide to enterprise customers, often using a mixture of its own and other carriers' networks. Verizon agreed to acquire Frontier Communications in September 2024.

Verizon: Cheap And Resilient Income You Need In A Volatile Market
Verizon's resilient income, low P/E ratio, and solid fundamentals make it a strong buy for income-focused investors in a volatile market. Despite higher losses and economic uncertainty, Verizon's debt reduction and improved cash flow highlight its financial stability and potential for future dividend increases. Verizon's cautious 2025 outlook anticipates lower free cash flow but maintains a well-covered dividend and conservative payout ratio, offering a safe haven amid market volatility.

Verizon: Increasing Cash Flow Makes It A Bargain
Verizon's revenue grew, but customer base declined; impressive $50 billion annualized EBITDA and $4 billion quarterly FCF highlight strong financials despite market challenges. Verizon's postpaid phone subscriptions saw business growth but consumer decline; fixed wireless access grows, but lacks AT&T's fiber business potential. VZ offers free phone trade-ins, satellite text messaging, and 3-year price lock to retain customers, impacting margins due to competition.

Retirement Strategy: 2 Blue Chip Dividends Now Way Too Cheap
Earnings season offers opportunities to buy undervalued blue-chip stocks like Verizon and Bristol Myers Squibb, both yielding 5-7% and trading below historical PE ratios. Verizon's growth in 5G, broadband, and prepaid services, combined with cost optimization, supports its 6.5% yield and potential for market-beating returns. Bristol Myers Squibb's focus on innovative medicines, cost savings, and a strong balance sheet underpins its 5.2% yield and long-term growth potential.
